It's sleeting in Jackson County, but will it snow?
PASCAGOULA, Mississippi -- Sleet is falling in many parts of Jackson County this morning and the latest National Weather Service forecast says there's a 30 percent chance of wintry mix falling -- yes, even snow -- before 1 p.m. today.
The forecast is for little or no accumulation of snow and ice.
After 1 p.m., the precipitation will be rain as temperatures warm.
There's another chance for sleet later today when temperatures drop again, mostly before 11 p.m.

Pellets of sleet accumulate on a car windshield this morning in Hurley.
