Pascagoula's Bachtoberfest moved to Jackson County Civic Center on Saturday

PASCAGOULA, Mississippi -- Pascagoula's Bachtoberfest, a fundraiser for the Gulf Coast Symphony, will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. has been moved to the Jackson County Civic Center due to the threat of rain.
The event was originally scheduled for Oct. 19, but was moved to Saturday to to the threat of heavy rain. More rain is in the forecast for Saturday, so organizers decided to moved the event from the Pascagoula riverfront in the downtown area to the Civic Center on on the Jackson County Fairgrounds on Shortcut Road.
The Gulf Coast Symphony Youth Orchestra will be performing during Bachtoberfest and also conducting a musical "petting zoo" of sorts where children can learn about different instruments and give them a try. Other music and games will be available, along with plenty of food.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
